Ozone has been widely used in pharmaceutical manufacturing and processing for surface sanitation, Clean-in-Place (CIP) which can also be described as Sanitize-in-Place (SIP), and Product Water. The same ozone system can be configured to perform both tasks under different CT Values (dose in concentration multiplied by time).
MicroPlasma Smart Ozone Systems check their own operational performance in real-time, and the information is clearly displayed on the HMI touchscreen. The systems can operate with monitoring/control by Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP) or Dissolved Ozone (DO3) monitoring/control with an onboard readout that shows the current ORP or DO3 actual dose in the process, turning the ozone dose up/down or on/off on the setpoint per application. Utilizing low energy consumption, MicroPlasma Ozone systems are small compact systems with the same sophisticated and accurate controls as much larger ozone systems. They are uniquely qualified when smaller ozone systems are required in pharmaceutical manufacturing and processing.
Developed by a major university’s Plasma Lab Team in 2010, MicroPlasma Ozone Technology®’s multi-patented ozone process produces a “uniform glow discharge”, as opposed to Corona Discharge, which is a “random discharge”, offering much higher efficiency and low power consumption.
MPO3 Engineering and Technical Team is available to discuss individual requirements for specific applications.
